Game Description
Pawned Souls merges Soulslike combat with chess strategy, placing you on the board as a single pawn. Your objective is to advance, strike diagonally, and defeat every enemy piece to achieve promotion. Each foe moves and attacks according to chess rules: Pawns attack one tile diagonally, Knights leap in L-shapes, Bishops strike diagonally with special projectiles, Rooks attack in lines with area-of-effect abilities, and the Queen attacks aggressively from nearly every angle. The King's specific actions are currently unknown.
